At Manfrotto we're proud of the achievements of all our colleagues, but this August, one co-worker in particular is really inspiring us all… Alessandro Bertelle, who has been with the company for almost 10 years in the R&D department in Cassola, will be taking part in a very special, extremely demanding race – the Ultra-Trail du Mont Blanc.
On August 31st, along with the other competitors, Alessandro will set out on this endurance running race of the Mont Blanc massif from Chamonix, covering 168km in distance and 9600ft of elevation, crossing the borders of France, Italy and Switzerland. The trail lasts anything up to 46 hours, and it's a gruelling challenge for all the runners, who can only take part if they've already proved themselves on at least 5 similar races.
