Manfrotto presents KLYP, the first accessory that turns your iPhone into a professional camera
Manfrotto, world leader in the equipment and accessories industry for photography and imaging, is proud to announce the launch of a brand new product dedicated to all iPhone 4 and 4S’ owners: KLYP, a revolutionary and stylish solution able to transform the smartphone into a complete and professional camera. Intended to become soon the new ‘must-have’ item for all digital enthusiasts, it consists in a special iPhone case equipped with two adaptor clips ready to host two of the most iconic products of the Manfrotto range for social recorders: pocket tripods and LED lights.
With this innovative creation, Manfrotto further tightens the connection between photography and mobile devices, allowing people to capture the moment wherever they are and whenever they want, as the greatest advantage offered by smartphones is that they are ‘always on’. Many surveys agree that today, on the whole, about 300 million photos are added everyday on Facebook (equivalent to 3,500 every second): if online photo uploading has become an unstoppable trend, it is also important to remark that smartphones account for a growingly significant percentage.

- as a case alone with two adaptor clips to enable use of own supports and lights;
- case complete with ML240 LED light for videography, Facetime and photography in low light situations;
- case complete with ML240 LED light and Manfrotto Pocket tripod for support when out and about;
- case complete with the more compact ML120 LED light;
- case complete with the ML120 LED light and Manfrotto Pocket tripod.
The two removable “clips” can be attached to any of four different points around the case to allow both landscape and portrait images. Then, the Manfrotto LED light could be added in the optimum position to fill in shadows when shooting stills or video in low light conditions.
