KLYP IT…OR MISS IT!
Manfrotto presents KLYP, the first accessory that turns your iPhone into a professional camera
Manfrotto, world leader in the equipment and accessories industry for photography and imaging, is proud to announce the launch of a brand new product dedicated to all iPhone 4 and 4S’ owners: KLYP, a revolutionary and stylish solution able to transform the smartphone into a complete and professional camera. Intended to become soon the new ‘must-have’ item for all digital enthusiasts, it consists in a special iPhone case equipped with two adaptor clips ready to host two of the most iconic products of the Manfrotto range for social recorders: pocket tripods and LED lights.
With this innovative creation, Manfrotto further tightens the connection between photography and mobile devices, allowing people to capture the moment wherever they are and whenever they want, as the greatest advantage offered by smartphones is that they are ‘always on’. Many surveys agree that today, on the whole, about 300 million photos are added everyday on Facebook (equivalent to 3,500 every second): if online photo uploading has become an unstoppable trend, it is also important to remark that smartphones account for a growingly significant percentage.
KLYP has been designed and studied to meet this kind of need, to satisfy all those who want to get better images and videos from the iPhone in their everyday life, and share them in real time on the social networks. KLYPhow to use kindle for ipad

The two removable “clips” can be attached to any of four different points around the case to allow both landscape and portrait images. Then, the Manfrotto LED light could be added in the optimum position to fill in shadows when shooting stills or video in low light conditions.
The KLYP case has been developed by Manfrotto with a unique rail system, which enables the case to remain sleek and have no protrusions to detract from its appearance. “We’re extremely proud of our new product: today, with the launch of KLYP, Manfrotto takes its very first steps into a new industry, the one of mobile phone accessories, enriching the market with its unique heritage and expertise in the imaging field”, comments Marco Pezzana, Manfrotto CEO. “Thanks to 2.0 platforms, where people’s life becomes a timeline of images, photography gets everyday more and more social, opening limitless opportunities for both users and companies. This is what we have always stated since the launch of the Imagine More project, nearly two years ago, and stays the same paradigm over which we’re going to build the future of our company”, ends Pezzana.
As photography is becoming more and more portable, with KLYP Manfrotto enters the segment of mobile phone accessories, relying upon an established leading role in the imaging industry and combining together the two key elements that always characterized the company: quality and innovation.
