1. Always be passionate
It is easy to be passionate when you shoot what you love but when you have to shoot what you don’t like, treat it as a challenge, always do your best.
2. Know your equipment
Familiarise yourself not only with your camera, but filters, tripod, flashes. Knowing what your equipment is capable of will improve your images dramatically.
3. Prepare yourself
Study maps, tides timetables, weather forecasts and research thoroughly the locations you plan to go.
4. Forget about the rules
There are no rules in photography; always look for an individual and challenging approach, think outside of the box and don’t be afraid to experiment.
5. Don’t risk your life
No photo is worth risking your life, but push yourself and your equipment to the limits.
