Madagascar, On The Road Between Fianarantsoa and Tulear.
It was a rather special journey. I was doing a photo report control to “Le Relais”, a social enterprise in Fianarantsoa, for publication in Femme Actuelle, a French women’s magazine. The French delegation of the Federation of clothing, transaction organizer, was present during the trip, as well as two couples, winners of a trip to Madagascar to visit the Relay.
Overall, we were a dozen people to participate in this trip. One day was not enough so I decided to extend for a further 24 hours my visit to the Relais. That day, the way back to the hotel I reserved a first nice surprise, the discovery of a zebu market.
Arriving at the hotel, the sky began to show threatening. Still, I decided to go for a walk. At the rear of the building, a small red dirt path leading to a hamlet. The landscape and the colors were gorgeous. One of the best photographic moments of the trip. A few minutes before the rain appeared, I met this man. Despite the language barrier, the exchange was deep, full of smiles!
